Events and networking dates in my diary
The great thing about working within the Salesforce ecosystem is that there is a never-ending calendar of events to attend. From learning opportunities to networking, there are a variety of opportunities available to broaden not only your Salesforce experience but also your local connections too. Here are some of the events I’ve signed up for:
Supermums Consultancy Dreamin’ | July 2021
Although I was on annual leave when the first ever Supermums Consultancy Dreamin’ event took place, this will not stop me benefiting from all of the available content. Developed by Supermums, Consultancy Dreamin’ provided information on what there is to know, learn and develop within the Salesforce consulting industry. My colleague Jessica attended the event live and Paul also delivered a session on the ten things you might not expect being a consultant. Thanks to modern technology, I can login to watch the pre-recorded sessions later this month.
Supermums Nonprofit Course | AAWR (as and when required)
The effective Salesforce training and recruitment specialists, Supermums have a wide variety of learning opportunities available to take advantage of. As we are heading into the development phase of a nonprofit customer project, the nonprofit mini-course available with Supermums was perfect for helping me to understand the next steps. Due to the learning content being available on-demand this has meant that I have been able to sign up before the project has started and complete the course in advance.
Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group | September 2021
Coacto runs the Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group, an event in which members of the local Salesforce community can connect and share their tips and tricks with one another, as well as enjoy presentations and a Salesforce trivia quiz. This is a lovely way to network with other Trailblazers and learn new skills. The next virtual event is taking place on Thursday 9th September 2021 and it’d be great if you could join us!
Women in Business Conference | December 2021
Although not Salesforce related, my colleague and I will be attending the Women in Business conference this December…IN PERSON! Taking place at the Pittville Pump Rooms in Cheltenham, the event will provide us with a day of local networking opportunities to make positive business connections and learning sessions to develop new skills. London’s Calling | June 2022
London’s Calling is Europe’s largest community led event for Salesforce professionals. This year I joined Coacto just after the 2021 had taken place, however I am already looking forward to the 2022 installment. I have already blocked the time out in my diary and we hope to attend as a team next year. Find out more about the event here.
