It only seems like yesterday that we got together (virtually) for our September Cotswolds Salesforce Community event and with just two weeks until our next group meeting we are looking forward to seeing you all again.

Evan Ponter, Founder at Ponter Solutions will be joining us to give some hugely powerful tips on how to leverage standard reporting to have one super charged custom report type per object to address the majority of report requests – pulling in up to 1,000 fields from up to 60 related objects!
Being Salesforce compliant with Saurabh Gupta
PlumCloud Labs CEO, Saurabh Gupta will teach how you can get your Salesforce Org compliant and supercharge your Marketing solution while protecting your company from lawsuits and fines with detailed information on CCPA, GDPR and the road to success for Salesforce customers.
Creating usable picklists with James Beezley
James Beezley, Director of SkySail is going to share some valuable information on creating a more usable picklist and will demonstrate a no-code way to allow users to select a record from a finite list, rather than have to know what to search for.
There’ll also be the opportunity to take part in our Salesforce Trivia Quiz and be in with a chance of winning our festive prize bundle. Don’t forget, it’s actually going to be Thanksgiving Day for our American Ohana, so let’s be sure to wish both Evan and Saurabh a very ‘Happy Thanksgiving!’ – We really appreciate them taking the time out of their celebrations to join us this month.
Virtually together
As with the majority of events this year, our November event is (again) going to be held virtually through Google Meet. If you’ve not used it before, don’t worry, it’s super simple. All you need to join us is a Google Account and the relevant joining details will be sent to all registered attendees on the day – Simple!
Top tips for joining our virtual event include wearing some comfy headphones, so you can hear everything that’s going on without any distractions and initiate your camera if you can – we’d love to see your faces! We’ll understand if you need to nip off to sort the children or grab a drink, just be sure to mute or hide yourself from the group so there are no distractions for others.
