2020: The Year of Change

2020: The Year of Change

The past twelve months have not been anything that the world could have foreseen and it’ll be recognised through history as the ‘Year of Change’. As a business, Coacto has experienced a few changes of our own and has had some excellent growth & highlights throughout 2020; making it a year to remember for all of the right reasons!

As the year (finally) draws to a close and we embrace the beginning of a new one, we wanted to share some of our most memorable highlights with you…

Our 2020 Highlights Timeline

London’s Calling Sponsorship | March 2020

Team Coacto spent the first few months of the year preparing to sponsor one of Europe’s largest community led events for Salesforce professionals, London’s Calling. Although the event was unable to go ahead as we’d all hoped back in March, it was transformed into a virtual/physical hybrid and was a hub of incredibly knowledgeable content. We were absolutely delighted to have been a sponsor, to have created our first company video for the event with caricatures of some of our team and we are looking forward to the next event in March 2021.

Brand New Website | May 2020

Usually referred to as ‘a window to your business’, the development and launching of a new website is considered a big achievement for a company; especially when it’s your team who build it! Through extensive planning, preparation and the whole team doing their bit to develop the site, we were thrilled to finally launch our brand new Coacto website in May which in turn has provided us with a growing online presence.

Salesforce Partner Achieved | July 2020

Becoming a Salesforce Partner is certainly something to celebrate and in July we were thrilled to be recognised with the prestigious title. Being part of the Salesforce Partner Program means we are able to have a positive impact on the successful growth of businesses and what’s more is we are officially recognised as Salesforce experts – An achievement we’re really proud of!

Gary’s Autumn 100 | October 2020

In October our very own Project Delivery and Operations Manager, Gary, challenged himself to the World’s Marathons Autumn 100 Race. On Saturday 10th October, Gary proved we are all capable of more than we believe, by running (and jogging towards the end) 100 miles in just 27 hours, 23 minutes! During this challenge Gary also supported fantastic Gloucestershire charities Move More and Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust by raising over £2,000!

New Solution Videos | October 2020

Helping our customers innovate their existing Salesforce systems is what we strive to do and this year we wanted to document how positive it can be for them; not only by creating more efficient processes but how it can increase their business too. With this in mind, we brainstormed how we could showcase particular challenges effectively and in October released our first ‘solution video’. Details on how we overcame Packaging Challenges with Pro-Stretch and Scheduling Issues with Caloo are readily available to watch on our website and we’ll be releasing more content throughout 2021 and beyond.

Largest Community Group | November 2020

Team Coacto are proud to be the Group Leaders of the Cotswolds Community and like many others, we had to change the way we host during the past year. Since March, our events have been held virtually and throughout 2020, our attendance numbers increase massively. We’ve been able to invite some excellent speakers from across the globe and have had great fun bonding with our growing community; especially through our regular Salesforce Trivia Quiz!

Paul’s December Daily Dash | December 2020

This December, Coacto Founder and Principal Consultant, Paul committed to go the distance for Sue Ryder by running 5k every day throughout the month… yes, even Christmas Day! His progress so far has been excellent, he’s gained a personal best and is raising money for a great cause – It’s also been a great way to burn off those mince pie calories!

As a team we are absolutely thrilled to have achieved some excellent milestones throughout 2020 and are ready to see what 2021 brings as we continue to provide our Salesforce Consultancy services to businesses who need help.

Now it is time for us all to take some time out, relax, reflect and celebrate. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a very successful 2021.
