Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group May 2021: Spectacular Summary
Last Thursday 27th May 2021, we were delighted to host our latest Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group event. We were grateful to have so many of the Salesforce Ohana tune in to hear from our phenomenal (not forgetting, international) line up and of course our highly-popular Salesforce Trivia Quiz!
Just in case you couldn’t join us, here’s what went down:
Fantastic Speakers & Sessions
|For May, our Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group went INTERNATIONAL with our speakers joining us from around the globe in the UK, Europe and even the U.S! Discover more about our line up and the knowledge shared below:|
✰ Neil Procter – Global Head of Customer Platform at Hive: We were grateful for Neil to join us from London to share his experiences on the Hive technology journey. During Neil’s session he discussed how the team built up the Hive technology landscape since 2013 successfully. What’s more is the team are now helping to upgrade and develop the British Gas platform following the success of their previous project.
✰ Pawel Dobrzynski – Manager at PwC: It was great to have Pawel join us from PwC in Warsaw. Following on from a session at London’s Calling in March, Pawel provided valuable insights into how new flows offer extended flexibility for automation processes. A key trend from this session suggested that it’s time to say goodbye to process builders and begin taking advantage of other flexible options offered by flows.
✰ Melissa Shepard – President & CEO at LizzardTechWe were really pleased that Melissa Shepard from LizzardTech took the time to join us all the way from Boston in the United States. During her session, Melissa showcased how you can tackle your everyday business problems like an architect by adapting and developing your existing skillset.
We’re going to share all of the details from our speaker sessions across our blog over the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled!
Salesforce Trivia Time
As well as the outstanding knowledge from our speakers, the attendees were also invited to take part in our Salesforce Trivia; which seems to be ever-growing in popularity.
The Salesforce Ohana were well and truly put to the test and challenged with questions such as ‘Who is the Salesforce Executive Chef?’ and ‘What’s the community for veterans?’
The competition was tight and the line up was close between participants, but our congratulations go out to Neil Procter, John Whitehead and Malcolm Heeley for topping the winners podium! Have you got what it takes to win our next trivia quiz? Be sure to check it out at our next event.
See you in September!
We hope that you enjoyed our May meeting as much as we did hosting it. We really enjoy connecting with our local and international Ohana and we’re looking forward to seeing you in September.
