Catching up with the Cotswolds Community

Catching up with the Cotswolds Community

Last week (Thursday 3rd September 2020) we hosted our Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group event. The event saw members of the local Salesforce Ohana and some new faces come together virtually to take away valuable knowledge from our highly anticipated presentations.

With a kick off at 5pm, attendees got to hear from Jiri Dvorak from Stimulus Consulting explaining Einstein Analytics and how to utilise the Einstein Analytics Learning Mapping Tool effectively. Peter Chittum from Salesforce provided a great opportunity for attendees to learn more about the new Lightning Message Services and illustrated some great functioning sample apps in the Sample Gallery and Doron Gower from KMS Lighthouse detailed how it’s critical for advanced knowledge management.

Quirky Quiz

During the event, attendees were welcomed to take part in our Salesforce Trivia Quiz and were in with a chance of winning our super special Trailblazer Community Prize Bundle.

The competition was tight and the line up was close between the participants, but there could only be one winner. Drum roll please… congratulations to Andrew Garlick from Audley Travel who won with a huge score of 10,082 in our Kahoot Salesforce Trivia Quiz!

Winston’s Wish Donation

As a thank you to everyone who joined the event, Coacto made a commitment to donate £10 per person to fantastic local charity Winston’s Wish. We are delighted to announce that this week we have donated £140 to the charity and with this, their wonderful team will be able to provide nine children with a memory box that can be used to store treasured objects, helping them to remember their loved one in a way that is personal to them. Without your attendance to our Community Group, this wouldn’t have been possible – Thank you!

Winston’s Wish Memory Box

We are hoping to continue our support by assisting with their Salesforce Implementation and if you would like to offer your services or provide your own donations, please do get in touch.

See you in November!

We hope that you enjoyed our September meeting and we really hope to welcome you to our next event in November. Keep your eyes peeled for detailed updates coming soon!

Don’t forget to join our Chatter Group and forward details of our next event to colleagues who may be interested in attending.
