Paul Harris Takes on the Sahara: A Trek for Hope for Tomorrow

This November, our very own Paul Harris, Founder and Principal Consultant at Coacto, will be braving the scorching sands and intense heat of the Sahara Desert, all for a noble cause: raising awareness and funds for the cancer charity Hope for Tomorrow. Paul’s mission is to complete a 100km trek through one of the world’s harshest environments, and he’s inviting us to share in this journey.

A Personal Challenge for a Greater Good

Paul’s journey is not just a test of physical endurance but also a battle against personal discomfort. “For someone that doesn’t like heat, sand, or camping, this is going to be a bit of a challenge for me,” Paul admits. Yet, he is determined to push through these challenges to support Hope for Tomorrow, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients.

The Impact of Hope for Tomorrow

Cancer treatment can be utterly exhausting, leaving patients feeling drained, as if their batteries have been removed. When faced with a cancer diagnosis, time becomes an incredibly precious commodity. It’s essential for patients to spend as much time as possible doing what they love with the people they love, while still receiving the life-saving treatment they need.

Hope for Tomorrow addresses this need by building and maintaining mobile cancer care units. These units bring vital treatment directly to patients, significantly improving their quality of life.

The Sahara Trek

Paul’s trek will take him across the southern Moroccan Sahara, a landscape that is as challenging as it is beautiful.

By day, Paul will trek alongside camels through these varied landscapes, and by night, he will camp under the vast, star-filled African skies.

Join the Journey

Paul’s trek is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a journey of hope and resilience. By following his adventure, you’ll be supporting a cause that brings much-needed care to cancer patients across England. Whether through words of encouragement, spreading the word, or learning more about the mission of Hope for Tomorrow, your involvement is invaluable.

Together, we can share in this incredible journey to bring hope and care to those who need it most.
