Cotswolds Salesforce Community: Sessions and street food!

Last month it was an absolute pleasure to host the Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group in person at The Workplace in Cheltenham. With a raft of content for members to consume and a whole bunch of Indian street food, we were blown away with the amount of members who joined in person. Not forgetting those who joined online too.

Quality Testing Solutions with Will Hughes

We were excited for Solutions Engineer, Will Hughes to join us from Provar Testing. After a busy few weeks at Dreamforce and preparing multiple session, Will presented virtually but the session was still received well. With 4 + years in the low-code automation industry, it was great to hear about some the challenges Will’s customers were faced with and how his team generated solutions to their pain points through effective automation and manager platforms. At the end of the session, Will invited members to join the University of Provar by tackling the Software Testing Fundamentals Trailhead – Give it a go yourself!

Owning your imposter with Amy Oplinger Singh

It was incredible to welcome 8x certified Client Director, Amy Oplinger Singh virtually from the States. Amy shared a gif-fuelled presentation on imposter syndrome delving deep into what it is, how it affects you (and others) and some great pointers on how to overcome sensations of doubt. The session was delivered with poise and humour and received with appreciation. So much so, that it was suggested that a Trailhead should be developed on imposter syndrome so watch this space!

When Salesforce goes wrong with Penny Townsend

We were incredibly grateful for Penny Townsend to join us in person for the evening. Travelling all the way from London, it was great to have Penny’s presence in the room to talk about when and why Salesforce goes wrong. From requirements gathering, utilising psychology to dispelling drama triangles, no stone was left unturned throughout Penny’s session. A hit with our members, we are hoping to invite Penny back to a future community group to go through an exciting new Trailhead!

Salesforce Trivia Quiz with Jessica Hargreaves

As always, the Salesforce trivia quiz was a hit with members and giggles were heard throughout the room. There were also comments about where Jessica gets the information from, but she will never reveal her sources! Congratulations to Seth Bland for claiming first place on the winners podium!

See you in December 2022!

Preparations have begun for the next Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group. We anticipate it will be another hybrid event in the first week of December 2022. We’d love to see more of you join us in Cheltenham for a real good catch up – Stay updated on the Trailblazer platform for more information. Don’t forget to join our Chatter Group too!
