Cotswolds Salesforce Community: Sessions from Salesforce Royalty
We can’t believe it’s almost been one week since we hosted our first Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group of 2022. On Thursday 24th February 2022, we were delighted to host sessions from Salesforce Royalty; Amanda Beard-Neilson, Gemma Blezard and Francis Pindar as well as welcome the Salesforce Ohana to enjoy an evening of networking and fun.
Creating a Salesforce Centre of Excellence with Amanda Beard-Neilson
Delivering our first session of 2022, Amanda shared a brand new session about how you can transform from Accidental Admin mode to create a Centre of Excellence and realising better potential for your Salesforce Org. We don’t want to share too much about this session as it is currently under wraps for other great events like London’s Calling and the like. Sorry if you missed it!
An incredible Salesforce Career with Gemma Blezard
We were blown away by Gemma’s story and her inspirational Salesforce career journey. It was incredible to learn about her awesome wealth of accreditations, certifications and her goals to create a supportive community for women to become CTAs and architects.
Admin to Architect with Francis Pindar
It was great to hear from Francis Pindar all about his beliefs on why behind every Salesforce Admin there is a hidden Architect. It was also reaffirming to listen to Francis’ opinion that it’s ok if you don’t pass certification on a first attempt and that failure can be turned into a positive using it as a learning experience.
Salesforce Trivia Quiz with Jessica Hargreaves
We really enjoyed pulling together the Salesforce Trivia Quiz and thank you to our community for such positive feedback. The competition was tight and the line up was close between the participants, but there could only be one winner. Drum roll please…congratulations to Jay Thanki from LDN Apprenticeships s who claimed first place on the podium! Also a huge well done to Paul Foden from Abacus Financials who came second.

We’ve already started planning for our next event which will be taking place on Thursday 26th May 2022. We will also be hosting this event in-person at a venue in Cheltenham with a virtual offering for those group members who are unable to travel.
