Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group – 5th March 2020

Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group – 5th March 2020

The Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group is back for our first event in 2020! We’ll be at Hub8 in Cheltenham town centre, with quality Salesforce presentations – plus the usual food and drinks to keep everyone happy.

Joining us this time are Dorian Sutton and Angus Brown from Desynit, Phil Young from Stimulus Consulting and Matt Morris from Homeless Link. Here’s a run down of what you’ll be hearing from them:

6:00 pm – Arrival

6:15 pm – Welcome

6:30 pm – ‘Not just for devs – what (and why) you need to know about Unit Testing’

7:00 pm – In-Form: Building an OEM solution on the force.com platform

7:30 pm – Networking Break

8:00 pm – Dispelling the myTH: A practical guide to implementing myTrailhead

8:30 pm – Close

Be sure to save yourself a seat!

Paul will be here to welcome you in and kick off the event

On an ever-evolving platform, our changes can have side effects that are hard to predict. In this session, Dorian and Angus will teach us what Unit Tests are, how to run them, and how to interpret their results to get you back on track.

In-Form is a case management and housing solution, owned by Homeless Link, for the homelessness sector. It is designed to strengthen organisational service delivery and reporting. Matt will be sharing the background of the product and how Homeless Link manages the delivery, support and development of the product.

By now, I am sure everyone is aware of myTrailhead. But just how simple is it to use, and how can companies use it to re-energise learning in your company? Phil will give us a hands-on demonstration of the tool and talk through some of the best practices in using it.

We hope you can make it along to our fourth Cotswolds event – Thursday 5th March, 6pm. The sign up page can be found here: bit.ly/2tAIUBj (we need to make sure we have enough food and drinks for people, so please register as soon as possible)

If you would like to present at a future user group, please get in touch or find us on Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook! You can also join our Chatter Group for User Group Members to stay in touch. We try to have a range of presentations at each event to interest all groups, so there’s no strict formula you have to stick to.

Look forward to seeing you soon!
