Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group: 2022 Festive Finale

Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group: 2022 Festive Finale

It was a great feeling to host the final Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group of 2022 in Cheltenham. Members were invited to join the community online or in person on Thursday 1st December 2022.

So many new and familiar faces joined in person at The Workplace including speakers, Sam Walley and the team from ProvenWorks. Thanks to official food and drink sponsor, ProvenWorks, there was enough delicious falafel and flatbreads (not forgetting mince pies) to feed the whole Salesforce Ohana. It resorted to members being sent away with leftovers!

Great to see so many happy faces!

Marketing Cloud, architect tools and ISV tips

The sessions delivered throughout the event were incredibly useful for the Trailblazer Community and we look forward to sharing them on the Coacto blog over the coming weeks. If you weren’t able to attend, then check our summary of the festive fun below:

Marketing Cloud with Sam Walley, Stimulus Consulting

We were thrilled to be joined by Sam Walley, Technical Lead at Stimulus Consulting and in person too! During Sam’s demo heavy (complete with doggo pictures) session, he walked through simple scenarios of how the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, can improve how a consumer journey’s through a brand experience.

Architect tools with Melissa Hill Dees, Hands On Connect Cloud

Joining virtually from across the pond, Melissa Hill Dees helped transform the Community Group into an international affair. Co-Founder of Hands On Connect Cloud and x8 Salesforce certified, Melissa’s session provided some useful insights on three architect tools that anyone can use for successful project outcomes.

Working with ISVs with Beth, Ruth & Callum, ProvenWorks

We were delighted to have Beth, Ruth & Callum join the Cotswolds Community from ProvenWorks. The team provided an inside scoop on how to best work with ISVs from a sales and marketing, support and product, and customer success perspective with an engaging session. Plus provided some useful USB goodies with resources to members too.

Trivia trend setters

The ever-popular Salesforce trivia quiz was a key part of the agenda and harnessed a festive twist. We were delighted to learn that other community groups have followed suit – Does this make us the #triviatrendsetters? Big congratulations to Melissa Hill Dees of Hands On Connect and Seth Bland of Computer Futures for taking the first and second spots. As it’s the season of giving, we will be donating to a charity of their choice as prizes.

Heads down for the Salesforce Trivia Quiz!
