Apprentice Hoots: Preparing for MFA

With a big Salesforce development coming into fruition in February 2022, Charlotte has been busy planning and preparing to support our customers. Read all about it her progress in our latest Apprentice Hoots blog:

Preparing for Multi-factor Authentication

Salesforce will be implementing Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) across every account and org in February 2022. MFA works by enhancing your Salesforce system’s security by providing an extra step to your login process and if it’s not set up before February 2022 our customers will be locked out of their accounts! This is the last thing we want so over the next few months I’ll be working to provide as much (or as little) support required for our customers.

Everyone, regardless of industry, will have to adopt MFA into their Salesforce system and it’s going to be one of the best ways to enhance our customer’s account login security and protect them against common threats like phishing attacks, credential stuffing, and account takeovers.

Jessica and I have been put in charge of a roll out project to our customers to ensure that everyone is aware of the MFA changes and to let them know we’re here to help support them. Just like the phases we conduct when planning our customer projects, we are in the discovery phases of this roll out to ensure that we don’t miss a thing.

Soon, we’re hoping to provide our customers and our local Salesforce community with everything they need to know about MFA, what it is, how it affects them and how our expert team can be there to provide as much or as little support required.

Keep your eyes peeled for MFA updates in your inbox soon! 👀

Owl see you later…
