Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group: An inspiring Salesforce career

The most recent Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group on Thursday 24th February 2022 was full to the brim with inspirational Salesforce content and a much needed catch up. With three excellent sessions delivered by Salesforce royalty, Amanda Beard-Neilson, Gemma Blezard and Francis Pindar it was great to engage the community with a plethora of interesting outlooks.
Last week, we shared Amanda’s highlights and we’ve still got lots to share from the other sessions. This week, we’re sharing the details from Gemma Blezard’s session and her inspiring Salesforce career to date.
Gemma Blezard, the super Salesforce MVP with an equally super career journey
We were thrilled when Gemma Blezard agreed to join the Cotswolds Salesforce Community Group. Gemma has a super list of achievements and since 2008 she has earned 18 certifications and 275+ Trailhead badges. Plus, Gemma has been awarded Salesforce MVP recognition, is an influencer of Salesforce architects, Founder and Co-CEO of The Architech Club, and Founder of the Trailblazer community initiative Ladies Be Architects – phew!
From Consultant to Architech
Gemma’s career began its life with Salesforce consulting, but a one to one meeting later on started the transition to becoming a Salesforce Certified Technical Architect. Given Gemma’s involvement in The Architech Club and Ladies Be Architechs, it was interesting to learn more about why becoming an architect is important for her career.

It was truly inspiring to have Gemma join the Cotswolds Community Group and if you weren’t able to watch her session, you can learn more about how awesome Gemma actually is in the Salesforce UK video below.
We highly recommend you check out Gemma’s Twitter profile to keep up to date with her Salesforce journey and the occasional picture of her cute pets!
