{"id":2644,"date":"2021-10-27T11:49:56","date_gmt":"2021-10-27T10:49:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.coacto.co.uk\/pre-prod-sandbox\/?p=2644"},"modified":"2021-10-27T11:49:57","modified_gmt":"2021-10-27T10:49:57","slug":"winter-22-release-featured-five","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.coacto.co.uk\/pre-prod-sandbox\/winter-22-release-featured-five\/","title":{"rendered":"Winter \u201822 Featured Five: Forecasting and Orchestrating"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Salesforce Winter \u201822 Release has been out in the open for a short while, but we\u2019re still revelling in the variety of new features and functionalities operating across all Salesforce Orgs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We simply couldn\u2019t list all of the fabulous features in one go and that\u2019s why we\u2019re sharing our favourites over the coming weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Check out this week\u2019s featured five of Coacto\u2019s Winter \u201822 Release favourites:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forecasting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were originally four forecasting types and those of you who know and love collaborative forecasting will already know about Pipeline, Best Case, Commit &amp; Closed. Salesforce has now added a fifth category and will allow teams to further identify their opportunities as Most Likely.&nbsp; Be sure to map the Most Likely category to one or more opportunity stages or you can assign opportunities individually to Most Likely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your account (aka Checkout)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your very own account will have also received a bit of a revamp. You will now be able to review Salesforce invoices, products and the contracts you have available in a more user friendly format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interactions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dynamic interactions will allow developers to create a Lightning component that reacts directly to a user activity based on another component. This is particularly good for showing a location of a user directly on a map for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inline editing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inline editing within reports was initially introduced in the Summer \u201821 release. The feature helps users to edit data directly in a report but now it also allows you to edit date, picklist and lookup fields. It has been a while coming, but what a great new feature to improve usability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flow orchestrator<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new feature allows Admins to create a multi-user automation for business processes with just a few clicks&#8230;no pesky code involved here. Different flows and approval processes can now be linked together.&nbsp; Check out the new Flow Orchestrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>That\u2019s it on our Salesforce Winter \u201822 Release featured five for this week.
