The Winter \u201822 release, which was launched in early October has provided a whole new host of features and functionalities which are all now operational across all Salesforce Orgs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new features never fail to excite Admins &amp; Developers alike\u2026 and of course our very own team here at Coacto. With so many excellent updates, we simply couldn\u2019t list them all at once. That\u2019s why we\u2019re going to shine a light on some of our favourites over the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Without further ado, here\u2019s this week\u2019s featured five:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Flow Updates<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Winter \u201822 Release has provided some excellent updates to Flows that we are sure will be a welcome addition. Some of the main features you can now expect include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Record-Triggered Flow start element changes<\/li><li>Call a Subflow from a Record-Triggered Flow<\/li><li>Screen Flow with new rolle back records element<\/li><li>Relabeling of the Navigation Buttons in Screen Flow<\/li><li>Ability to reconnect Flow Elements in Screen Flow<\/li><li>Configuration of Batch Size for Scheduled Paths<\/li><li>New \u2018Minutes\u2019 options for Offsets<\/li><li>Debugging enhancements for Record-Triggered Flow<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Phew &#8211; The list goes on. For a full breakdown of all of the Flow Updates in the Winter \u201822 release, check out this great article from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforceben.com\/salesforce-flow-winter-22\/\">Tim Combridge on SalesforceBEN.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outbound Messaging<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Outbound Messages can now be completed as an action in the Flow Builder as part of the Salesforce Winter \u201922 release. This feature quite simply allows for outbound messages to be sent to external services. We believe that this addition is going to be pivotal in solidifying Flow\u2019s reputation as the go-to Salesforce automation. Watch this space!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/jVQRXWorfVIuajAvRoMyrQ_RZOOhWZv-7Fn4bdSbDWefoao2erN7f3OTgIumea7SqynwEKK6BfqWT_WW_FKLj1zvcuiXRKbQiwSJepkng_jgErMt6z-x1XSIuNRNbtxVEM8eab0=s1600\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Einstein Search<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst this feature has been available for a while, there are actually updates for this particular AI-driven feature in every Salesforce Release. The Winter \u201822 release will enable Einstein Search by default which is great news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lightning Performance<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Salesforce has been putting a huge emphasis on encouraging admins to improve the speed of their Org. The Winter \u201822 release has a couple of notable features that are certainly worth mentioning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Admins can now view org-specific metrics including user network latency, browser speed and number of cores allowing greater visibility for load speeds.<\/li><li>Lightning App Builder will automatically run when a new page is set up and will provide recommendations for poor performance.<\/li><li>Salesforce will now provide more detailed analysis if customer Lightning components are being used.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/jzS3Sh6pzDNM563A3_FxNa7LS7q3q1qIGU0eD7f54BaW0rnUz-agvOPBVjVu8yESs-ToEe6ES1iCKWQC-aJdlx0M5WSS_qmib5Vr5zQ5sR1tVedkDbE5rRtV2h4vQ_plE4btrvo=s1600\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Dynamic Gauge Charts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Salesforce admins and users have been waiting for this feature for a long time and it has finally arrived as part of the release for Winter \u201822. Gauge charts have previously only been able to track KPIs against static numerical goals, now this figure will respond to your business dynamically &#8211; how satisfying is that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/ZJEWTEjSeOFFlCb8FwyW_NvucGoU-IqMLGx1KjXZ6KJlF7eLKWPd2RShXmynN_j2E0rdis1KQb3CbVyiLwWU45pV9jHNPy-CQ2tjIZO0Y2FNF6PEH-lSMhAvxUqvqphhOHPFFxw=s1600\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>That\u2019s it on our Salesforce Winter \u201822 release featured five for this week.
